Don't play with fishing hooks!

This is what happens when you are not looking. Dexton and Connor were practicing casting their fishing poles for the trip to the lake when...ooops. Luckily the hook had just caught his finger barley under the skin and then looped back out. It was more traumatizing then painful.

Dexton's new game

Dexton has been playing video games almost constantly sense we got it. He and Connor like to play Star Wars Lego's on the Wii. I'm not sure if we like it or not, but it definitely keeps them occupied.

Last year at Brian Head

This was by far the coldest skiing trip we have ever experienced. This was Dexton's 2nd or 3rd ski trip and Connor's first. Neither one seemed to mind the cold. Dexton tried to ski a little but they spent almost the whole time tubing. They had the time of their lives, constantly going up and down that little hill. I got to snowboard a little with Shelly and Lance, but it was just too cold to enjoy.

Violet Honey Petersen is named after my Great Grandma Violet Honey, who just turned 103 in July. I couldn't imagine a better roll model for my sweet girl. I am so excited to buy pink things and barbies and all that girly girl stuff. The boys are so good to their baby sister to. I was a little worried about Connor losing his spot but he just loves on her and is so good to help. So is Dexton, I really have some great kids. Even though she is a cryer, they only ask "what's wrong with baby".
This is the Honey Fam at Schnepft Farm in Queen Creek. When we went and watched the Utah Jazz and Suns play. Which the Jazz won.

Andrea's birthday

This is a couple of pictures from Andrea's 28th birthday party. Connor & Dex personally decorated the cake, which is why it has a soccor theme.

Dexton loves to fish, he and Connor spent many hours in the back yard practicing with their fishing poles getting prepared to fish on Grandpa's bass boat. Dexton and I spent the day fishing with grandpa Danny on the boat (about 6 hours non-stop). But after all those hours we only caught a few bass, and Dex came up empty. Connor was more interested in throwing rocks (and his shoes) in the lake. In the afternoon we ate our catch, surprisingly the boys cleaned their plates. Both of them were fascinated when we cleaned the fish, they poked and prodded the carcases and couldn't take their eyes off of them.
